Harrison's Cave & Hunte's Gardens Tour

Culture · St. Thomas

Rating: 4.6 / 5

Harrison's Cave is a vast limestone cavern system in the centre of the island, explored on an electric tram that winds past stalactites, stalagmites, and underground pools and waterfalls — it's the single most-visited paid attraction in Barbados. This three-and-a-half-hour tour pairs it with Hunte's Gardens, horticulturalist Anthony Hunte's otherworldly ravine garden in St. Joseph, laid out in the collapsed sinkhole of an ancient cave and soundtracked by classical music. Two completely different experiences in one half-day, both very photogenic. Hotel pickup included; comfortable shoes recommended.
