Sol Rally Barbados is the Caribbean's biggest motorsport event and, after cricket, arguably the largest spectator occasion on the island. Staged each May by the Barbados Rally Club, it uses special stages on closed public roads across the parishes, drawing drivers and co-drivers from Barbados, the wider Caribbean, the UK and Europe in everything from Group N saloons to WRC-spec machinery. Thousands of fans line stage banks across three days of competition, and the accompanying Flow King of the Hill hillclimb adds an extra tarmac sprint to the weekend.
