Harrison's Cave is a crystallised limestone cavern formed over millions of years by water carving through coral limestone in central Barbados. It's the island's top attraction by visitor numbers. The cave system stretches 2.3km, with the public tour covering about 800m.

Tour options

The standard tram tour takes about 45 minutes through the lit cave system on an electric tram. Walk-in eco-adventure tours run by guides for smaller groups go deeper into the system and require sensible footwear. The visitor centre at the entrance has an interpretive exhibit and gift shop.
